Refund and Returns Policy – Lightside Collectibles

At Lightside Collectibles, most of our inventory consists of vintage and collectible toys and memorabilia that are often 20+ years old. Due to the unique and aged nature of these items, our refund and returns policy reflects the careful handling these collectibles require.

Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, we cannot offer full refunds or exchanges.

Return Eligibility

  • Items must be returned unused and in the same condition you received them, including all original packaging, certificates, and accessories.

  • Vintage collectibles must be intact with no missing parts or damage caused after shipment.

  • Factory-sealed or unopened collectibles must remain sealed to qualify for return.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Personalized or custom-made items sold as final sale.

  • Opened mystery boxes or sealed sets that have been unsealed.

  • Vintage items sold “as-is” or with clear condition disclaimers.

Proof of Purchase

A valid invoice or receipt from Lightside Collectibles is required to process any return.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Items returned with damage not present at sale.

  • Items missing original packaging, certificates, or accessories.

  • Collectible media (books, DVDs, vinyl) opened or showing use.

  • Returns made after 30 days from delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you confirming receipt and the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within several business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund, first check your bank or credit card accounts. Contact your financial institution if the refund is delayed. If issues persist, please contact our support team at help@lightsidecollectibles.com for assistance.

Sale Items

Only regularly priced vintage collectibles may be refunded. Sale or clearance items are sold final.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only offered for defective, damaged, or incorrectly described items. For exchanges of the same collectible, please email us first at help@lightsidecollectibles.com for instructions.

Shipping Returns

Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility and is non-refundable. We recommend using trackable shipping and insurance for high-value vintage collectibles. Refunds may be adjusted to deduct return shipping costs.

Please ship returns only to the address provided by our customer service team after obtaining return authorization. As these items are resold collectibles, there are no manufacturers to return items to.
